Communicative tools are anything that helps people share information and understand each other. It's like having different ways to talk and connect, so everyone can get their message across. This includes websites, books, maps, social media platforms and educational discussion forums like virtual learning environment, encyclopedias, and dictionaries.

VLE (Virtual Learning Environment) as Communicative tool

One informative tool I find really useful is a discussion forum known as VLE which stands for virtual learning environment. It is a very simple tool where we can pose a question, we first think about it quietly on our own and the together, we can share our opinions and views with the class. It is like a virtual station of learning where we can chat about classroom-related learning and any other information at any time and from anywhere, not just when we are all together.

As a future teacher, it is very good opportunity for me to integrate this discussion form, VLE into my teaching. I see it as a way to extend learning beyond the four walls of the classroom. I would use VLE to upload notes, readings, and videos, so the students can access them anytime, and from anywhere. Some of the communication features that I would use are discussion forums to create online conversations about topics, interactive activities like quizzes, polls, and collaborative feedbacks. 

This allows everyone to participate, even the quieter students who might not always speak up in class. It also gives them time to think things through and formulate our responses carefully. This would also help in my teaching and bring improvement through student’s feedback about my teaching, which will eventually help everyone improve.

In a nutshell, I see VLE as a way to create a more connected, engaging, and accessible learning environment. It is not just about replacing face-to-face interaction, but about enhancing it. It is about using technology to empower us to take part in our learning and connect with each other in meaningful ways. It is a way to learn better every day with everyone with information.
